It's a Dutch name for girls.

There is that famous dude in that famous book called Van Helsing...

Then there is Helsinki in Finland, and we call that Helsingfors in the rest of Scandinavia. In Sweden there is a Helsingborg and in Denmark Helsingør (Elsinore) as well as Helsinge...

apparently Helsin goes around these parts and where am I going with this? No where actually. Was just pondering. :)
